LA Lakers basketball player Ronnie Price has come up with a new way to tackle his opponents… by throwing his Nike trainers at them!
As Austin Powers once said “Who throws a shoe, Honestly?”…
After losing the ball (and having his Nike trainer pulled off when his foot was stood on by an opponent) Ronnie Price decided to try and win back the ball by throwing his shoe at it! Unfortunately for the Nike wielding basketballer all he got for his troubles was a technical foul.
Lets hope the trend doesn’t make its way over to our shores, we wouldn’t want rugby and football boots flying around the pitch on a Sunday morning!
So there you have it – it’s not just Random Task who throws shoes!
