James Bond is back with a bang in Spectre, and to celebrate we take a look at some of Bonds alternative (as in not black!) footwear choices from films past. To maintain his status as a style icon for more than 50 years, he obviously needed to rely on more than the tux!

Here are just a few of the alternative shoe styles Bond has worn since 1962 when he first hit the big screen in Dr No…

Goldfinger-Brown-LoafersBrown Loafer in Goldfinger (1964)

Sean Connery is arguably the most iconic of Bonds and has kick started many a trend. In an era when men wore suits everyday Bond showed all men how to do it properly! Here we see him wearing a classic pair of brown loafers matched with a textured grey suite.

Brown Brogues in GoldenEye (1995)

Goldeneye Brown BroguesPierce Brosnan’s debut as the ladykilling spy was the most successful bond film since Moonraker in 1979. Brosnan has been credited with reinvigorated the bond brand after a poor reception to the Dalton films in the late 80’s that were criticized for lacking that distinctive English charm. Brosnan brought this back in spades, and what better way than with a classic British brogues!

Here’s just a few of our range that fit the bill…

When Daniel Craig burst onto the scene as Bond he brought a new dark side to the character and created a more modern 21st century Bond. Granted Quantum of Solace may be the worst of Craig’s four films as James Bond but the more casual look still works great! Here we see him pair up suede Chukka/Desert boots with cream chinos and a cool motorbike. We can’t help you with the motor bike but we have a great selection of Chukka and Desert boots, including these beauties…
