Far from feeling elephantine the first time I wore these boots, they are a good fit, comfortable and practical. I look forward to testing the reinforced instep with some serious work in the garden in a few weeks time. Quite probably comfortable for an endurance wear. I felt safe in muddy and slippery conditions. I hope they prove durable.
