LANCASHIRE footwear retailer Wynsors is creating 30 jobs with two branch openings.
Wynsors, based in Bacup, will open outlets in Chester and Wakefield to take the number of its value stores to 36, with further expansion planned.
It has shops across the north and its growth contrasts with the fortunes of Barratts and PriceLess, whose parent company Stylo went into administration last week.
A Wynsors spokesman said: "We are in a good position to weather the storm by providing great value for money and an affordable footwear solution for people of all ages and tastes."
The branch in Wakefield will open in early March, with Chester due to start trading later in the month.
